Kate' s portrait

EN. In 2012 Kate was presented with an official portrait by Paul Emsley but this Duchess' s representation was highly criticized. Some art critics were really disappointed.

EN. Tom Sutton- Smith, a Scotland painter, painted an alternative portrait of Kate from a picture of her taken shortly after Emsley's portrait was released.

 EN. He wanted to capture Kate's "youthful spirit" because she looked too serious in the official portrait.
"When William saw it, he said, 'Wow, it's brilliant. That's going up in my room,'"  Glenys Andrews said.
