Buckingham Palace Garden Party 2014

EN. The Queen welcomed summer with her garden party at Buckingham Palace.
The tradition of having a garden party at the palace has been around since the 1860s.
The Duke of Edinburgh, who turned 93 the day before, was also at the garden party.

La tradizione di dare un garden party a palazzo risale al 1860.

Anche il Duca di Edinburgo, che ha compiuto 93 anni il giorno prima (9/06), era alla festa.

EN. Guests were invited to feast on the spread of garden- party food, such as slices of fruit cake, finger sandwhiches and strawberry tarts.

IT. Gli ospiti sono stati invitati a festeggiare con l'ampia varietà di cibo garden-party, come fette di torta alla frutta, sanwiches e torte alla fragola.

EN. Kate wore the same dress from Queen's Diamond Jubilee lunch in 2012.
The lace McQueen dress was designed by Sarah Burton.
She accessorized with a new hat from Jane Corbett and a nude clutch from Russell and Bromley.

Kate is on the International Best-Dressed List again!

Kate has been named to Vanity Fair's best-dressed list for the fourth consecutive year.
She's at the third place on the famous international list.
The winner is Kerry Washington, Django Unchained star.
The Duchess of Cambridge wasn't the only royal to be included on the list –  Princess Letizie of Spain and Princess Madeleine of Sweden are in the list too.
Vanity Fair has chosen as 2013 best look of Kate the Pink Alexander McQueen pink coat and Jane Corbett hat, worn at the Trooping the Colour ceremony in honor of the Queen’s birthday.

Kate è stata nominata nella lista come meglio vestita di Vanity Fair per il quarto anno consecutivo.
Si è posizionata terza nella famosa lista.
La vincitrice è Kerry Washington, star di Django Unchained.
Ma la duchessa di Cambridge non è stata l'unica reale ad essere stata inclusa nella lista- anche la  Principessa Letizia di Spagna e la Principessa Madeleine di Svezia sono presenti.
Vanity Fair ha scelto come miglior look di Kate del 2013 il cappotto rosa e il cappellino Jane Corbett, indossato al Trrping the Colour, cerimonia in onore del compleanno della regina.
Insomma la nostra Kate colpisce ancora!
