Kate in Portsmouth

EN. Kate visited the new headquarters of Ben Ainslie Racing and the 1851 Trust to see what progress has been made in its construction, before going in to look at the mural in the site's Visitor Centre.
Painted by JamesWaterfield, My Dog Sighs and students from six local schools, the mural depicts the skyline from Portsmouth to Ryde, Isle of Wight, capturing the rich maritime history of the surrounding waters.
Kate spoke to the artists, before adding her own detail to the mural.
The Duchess said about the mural: "It's such a lovely idea!".  Kate said she was painting with George yesterday and that he loves painting.
Kate wore a cream MaxMara coat and a Somerset by Alice Temperley sail boat dress.


EN. In the afternoon Kate attended a reception at the Spinnaker Tower, where she met members of the community who are involved with the Ben Ainslie Racing Project.
This inclued teachers and students from City College - Southampton, who are building two "Docking RIB" boats, which are specially designes to help dock the America's Cup boats in the harbour.
Kate also viewed a collection of exhibits on the tower's viewing platform, including sailing simulators, power grinders used by athletes and the 3D printer which will be used to manufacture custom parts for training boats. These are set to go on displeay at the Visitor Centre for the 1851 Trust after in opens in July this year.

EN. Kate received Portsmouth football shirt from school children and a miniature version of the Ben Ainslie Racing team kit for George.

Royal Tour 2014 - Day One

EN. First day of the Royal Tour in Wellington.
Arrival in Sydney before they boarded a Roland New Zealand Air Force aircraft to head to Wellington.
Kate wore a grey Max Mara dress (£350) and a pair of beige Manolo Blahnik shoes.

IT. Giorno uno del tour reale a Wellington.
Arrivo a Sidney a bordo della Roland New Zealand Air Force in direzione Wellington.
Kate indossava un abito grigio Max Mara e un paio di scarpe beige Manolo Blahnik.

EN. The family landed in Wellington.
Kate wore a red coat by Catherine Walker (£ 1,500) , a pair of shoes Emmy, a Gina Foster pillbox hat and a silver fern brooch (an important New Zealand symbol). The pin is borrowed from the Queen.
Catherine Walker was a favorite clothing label of Lady D.

IT. La famiglia è atterrata a Wellington.
Kate indossava un cappottino rosso di Catherine Walker, scarpe Emmy, un cappellino Gina Foster e una spilla d'argento a forma di felce (un importante simbolo della Nuova Zelanda). La spilla è stata prestata a Kate dalla Regina.
Catherine Walker era una delle marche di abbigliamento preferite da lady D.
