Pippa's first TV interview

EN. In her first television interview,  Pippa talked about her sister's life: "Obviously she has pressures that she's taken on and things. But we spend a lot of time together. We still do a lot together as a family.  We have a very normal sisterly relationship. We’re very close. And, you know, we support each other and get each other's opinions and things.And I think that's really the heart for all of us is having a really close family that we can sort of be normal with each other, treat each other normally. And that's sort of kept us all, you know, affixed to the ground". 

IT. Nella sua prima intervista televisiva, Pippa ha parlato della vita di sua sorella: "Ovviamente lei ha delle pressioni sulle spalle. Ma passiamo un sacco di tempo insieme. Facciamo ancora molto insieme come una famiglia. Abbiamo un rapporto fraterno molto normale. Siamo molto unite. E, lo sai, noi ci sosteniamo a vicenda e ci confrontiamo sulle cose. EN. She told that she had viewed Kate's wedding to William as just a 'family wedding'.
'It sounds funny to say, but we saw it, as just a family wedding. And actually, I didn't realize, perhaps, the scale of it until afterwards.We all took on the the roles as any family would.'

IT. Pippa ha detto che considera il matrimonio di Kate e William come "un matrimonio di famiglia. Sembra strano da dire, ma lo abbiamo visto come un matrimonio di famiglia. E in realtà, non mi rendevo conto, forse, il peso di questo fino a cose fatte. Abbiamo preso tutti i ruoli come ogni famiglia avrebbe fatto". 

EN. Pippa said: " George's amazing.  He's a very dear boy. And he's brought a lot of pleasure and fun for all of us, the whole family.”

During a chat with the radio presenterVirginia Araya, he said: "George's growing up. He is walking and he has big, chubby cheeks. He looks like a young Winston Churchill".

EN. On 5 July William, Kate and Harry will be at the ceremonial start of the race at Harewood House, near Leeds in Yorkshire, to launch the Tour de France, which will head through the UK, Belgium, Spain and France.
William, Kate and Harry are all big supports of British cycling.

Kate's bridal gown voted best of time

EN. The sleeved, full skirt wedding dress was designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.
The pleated skirt was made to resemble an "opening flower" and it features hand—cut English lace and French Chantilly lace. The train measures almost 9 ft. long.
The bodice and lace appliqué was handmade by the Royal School of Needlework.
The bride's veil is held in place by a "halo" tiara designed by Cartier, lent to her by Queen Elizabeth II.
It's made with layers of ivory silk tulle with a trim of hand—embroidered flowers.

IT. L'abito da sposa con le maniche e la gonna a ruota è stato creato da Sarah Burton per Alexander McQueen.
La gonna a ruota è stata fatta per ricordare "un fiore aperto" ed è fatta di pizzo inglese e francese Chantilly tagliato a mano.
Lo strascico misura quasi 9 metri.
Il corpetto e l'applicazione in pizzo è stata realizzata a mano dalla Royal School di cucito.
Il velo della sposa è tenuto da una tiara ad aureola creata da Cartier, e prestata dalla regina Elizabeth II.
Il velo è fatto con strati di tulle di seta color avorio con il bordo di fiori ricamato a mano.
