William pays tribute to MH17 plane crash victims

EN. Prince William said:  "I know that I speak for all of us here when I acknowledge our deep sadness following yesterday's disaster in the Ukraine.For all of us who have lost fellow countrymen and women in the tragedy, words cannot do justice to our sense of loss. For Australians, and for our Malaysian brothers and sisters in the Commonwealth, the crash is a particularly cruel tragedy coming so soon after the loss of MH370. Please be assured of my family's thoughts and prayers at this time."

IT.  Il principe William ha detto: "So che parlo per tutti noi quando esplicito la nostra profonda tristezza in seguito al disastro di ieri in Ucraina. Per tutti noi che abbiamo perso dei connazionali nella tragedia, le parole non possono rendere giustizia alla nostra perdita. Per gli Australiani, e per i nostri fratelli malesi e le sorelle del Commonwealth, l'incidente è una tragedia crudele venuta così presto dopo la perdita del MH370.

EN. William spoke during a ceremony unveiling a 6ft bronze statue to Captain Matthew Flinders outside Australia House on the Strand in London on the bicentenary of his death.

The statue, designed by sculptor Mark Richards, will later be permanently installed in Euston Station, which stands on the site where it is believed Captain Flinders was buried on his death at the age of 40.

William also revealed a commemorative Matthew Flinders locomotive name plate for one of Virgin's Pendolino trains that run between London Euston and Glasgow.

IT.  William ha parlato nel corso della cerimonia in cui ha sveltato una statua di bronzo dedicata al capitano Matthew Flinders fuori l'Australia House sulla Strand a Londra, in occasione del bicentenario della sua morte.
La statua, realizzata dallo scultore Mark Richards, sarà poi installata in modo permanente nella stazione di Euston, che sorge sul luogo dove si credeva che il capitano Flinders fu sepolto alla sua morte, all'età di quarant'anni.
William ha anche rivelato una targhetta commemorativa Matthew Flinders per uno dei treni pendolino della Vergine che corre tra London Euston e Glasgow.
